Hamas Condemns Israeli Regime’s Plan to Annex Territories of Arab Countries

Doha, MINA – The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas strongly condemned Israel’s plans to annex more Palestinian land and territories of Arab countries.

Hamas stated on Tuesday that the plan reaffirmed the aggressive nature and expansionist ambitions of the Israeli regime, as reported by Press TV.

“The hostile statements made by the occupying leaders demand a strong response from Arab and Islamic governments to confront these ambitions and stop their crimes,” said a Hamas statement.

These comments came after an official Israeli social media account published a map showing annexed territories of Palestine, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon as part of Israel.

Hamas stated that the map was further evidence of Israel’s colonial nature and its plans to escalate aggression to conquer the region and seize its resources.

The movement then called for decisive action from the Arab League as well as Arab and Islamic countries to confront Israel’s ambitions and halt its crimes against the Palestinian people.

Earlier that same day, Palestinian and Jordanian officials condemned the Israeli map claiming the territories of several Arab countries as part of what is called “Greater Israel.” (T/RE1/P2)
