THE IMAMUL MUSLIMIN’S PASSING AWAY ANNOUNCED IN AL-AQSHA MOSQUE

Gaza, 20 Safar 1436/13 December 2014 (MINA) – The passing away of Imaamul Muslimin who has iniciated the acceleration of Al-Aqsha freedom movement in Indonesia, Muhyiddin Hamidy was announced on Al-Aqsha Mosque in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), Friday Dec. 12.

“I announced the condolence that Imam Muhyiddin Hamidy from Indonesia passed away this morning,” said Imam of Al-Aqsha Mosque Shaikh Ali Al-Abbasi.

On that occasion, Sheikh Al-Abbasi also prayed for the Imamul Muslimin. They hoped Allah forgives and blesses him after his duty of leadership in the world has completed. Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA)’s correspondent in Palestine reported.

They also hoped Allah gives the highest place in the heaven along with the Prophet Muhammad PBUH according to his efforts in the world.

Al-Abbasi explained to the congregation that the Imamul Muslimin had invited him to the international conference on the liberation of Al-Aqsha Mosque at Bandung in 2012. The conference resulted some decisions. One of the decisions was the mandate to Imamul Muslimin as the commander of Al-Aqsa Mosque liberation.

Imam Hamidy (83) is well known as an ulema who focused on the struggle of Al-Aqsa liberation.

He did socialization to the society in Indonesia and in other countries about the importance of Al-Aqsa liberation from the occupation.

Hamidy has pledged GazwahAl-Aqhsa since on 17 September 2006 by various activities in  Jakarta, Bandung, Aceh, Sumatra, Semarang, Lampung as well as other regions.

The realization of the pledge was the holding of an Al-Quds international conference in 2012, which produced an international Islamic media, Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA). (L /P009/R03)
