A Reunite Call from The President

Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian President Joko Widodo called on all Indonesian people to re-unite to build Indonesia after the national (president and parliament member) election, last April 17.

Official calculations from the General Election Commissions (KPU) regarding the election results will be announced next May 22. Therefore the community must be patient and build unity.

Meanwhile, Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) said the participation of citizens in the election in the 2019 Election was high.

JK saw the high citizen participation, both domestic citizens and abroad. The high enthusiasm of the people, according to JK, was caused by a long campaign period.

“This is the same as foreign and domestic attention or very much community participation, maybe because of the length of the campaign,” he said.
