IOF ARRESTED 320 PALESTINIANS SINCE OCTOBER
Ramallah, 25 Dzulhijjah 1436/9 October 2015 (MINA) – Palestinian Prisoners Society revealed on Thursday that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have arrested 320 Palestinians in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem since the first of October.
Palestinian minors, whose ages are below 18, constituted the half of the number, the society pointed out, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
Head of society Qaddoura Fares said these arrests came in the wake of the decision made by Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu who ordered Israeli army to escalate arrest campaigns against Palestinians in disregard to the minors.
Netanyahu’s decision is a political one that cannot be justified, Qaddoura Fares underlined.
80 Palestinians were rounded up in Occupied Jerusalem, 80 in al-Khalil, 70 in Ramallah and Beira, 30 from Nablus, 20 from Bethlehem and 40 from each of Jenin, Jericho, Qalqilya, Tulkarem, Tubas and Salfit.(T/P008/R03)
