Israeli Occupation Forces Detain 45 Palestinians from the West Bank

Ramallah, MINA – The Israeli occupation forces detained at least 45 people, including former detainees, a woman, and a child, in the occupied West Bank over the past 24 hours, Wafa reported.

The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission and the Palestinian Detainees Society said in a joint statement that the detention operations were centered in the cities of Hebron, Nablus, Tubas, Tulkarm, Ramallah, and Jerusalem, accompanied by widespread raids and torture, assaults and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to vandalism and the destruction of homes.

In addition, the occupation conducted field investigations against about 25 people in the city of Sa’ir/Hebron, and the occupation detained two of them in detention.

The PPS and the Commission confirmed that the total number of Palestinians detained in the occupied West Bank since October 7 has increased to more than 11,000. This figure includes those detained in their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and those taken hostage. (T/RE1/P2)
