Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce Holds “Halal Day” in Paris

Paris, MINA – The Cooperation of the Brazilian Arab Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) is holding an “Arabic Halal Day” at the Salon International de l’Agroalimentaire (SIAL Paris) in a series of leading European food industry events since Sunday 21 until October 25 in Paris, France.

The Arab Halal Day holds as partnership with the Brazilian Agency for Promotion of Trade and Investment (Apex-Brasil), Trade Arabia News reported.

According to recent industry reports, the Arab region consumes more than $ 3.5 billion of halal beef and poultry from Brazil in 2017. Arabic Halal Day is aimed to promote halal meat and attract importers.

With this description, Arab Halal Day is timely and strategic because it is expected to help provide Brazil with a needed business boost in connecting with potential Arab importers in Paris.

ABCC brought 22 industry players from Brazil, including leading companies such as JBS, Mafripar, Marfrig, Minerva Foods and Xinguara.
