600 Indonesian Muslim March in Banten for Liberation of Al-Aqsa

Banten, 8 Muharram 1438/9 October 2016 (MINA)  – About 600 Muslims have marched through the main streets of Banten in the long march “Love Al-Aqsa”, which aims to inspire Muslims to get involved in the liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque from the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.

Held on 8 October 2016 at 8 pm,  the rally and long march was participated in by various groups coming from the Greater Jakarta, Banten, West Java and Lampung.

Chief organisers Basuki expressed the hope that the long march would mobilize people to close ranks in order to expel the Israeli Zionists who take control on the third holiest place of Islam.

It started from Ats-Tsauroh Grand Mosque and ended at Al-Bantani Raya Mosque in Serang, Banten.

Meanwhile, Tabligh Akbar or a mass religious gathering was held on Sunday (9/10) morning at Masjid Raya Al-Bantani featuring speakers The Imaam of Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizullah), Yakhsyallah Mansur, the Founder the Al-Fatah Boarding School in Bogor, KH. Abul Hidayat Saerodjie, The Jakarta scholars Shamsuddin Ahmad, and the Head of Data Communications and Information of MUI Banten Zaenal Abidin Suja’i.

“Defending Al-Aqsa Mosque is a religious duty and an obligation to humanity,” said Yakhsyallah Mansur when opening the rally in front of hundreds of participants.

He said, the defense of Al-Aqsa is a religious duty that must be fulfilled. There are so many virtues of Al-Aqsa Mosque  Allah mentioned in Al-Qur’an.
