300 Palestinians Arrested Since Trump’s Jerusalem Recognition

Ramallah, MINA – The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested 300 Palestinians during the protests that swept across occupied Palestinian territories last week over US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel, rights sources documented.

Most of the detainees were subjected to brutal attack and severe beating during the arrest at the hands of IOF soldiers, the Palestinian committee for prisoner studies said, PIC reported, PIC reported.
A number of detainees were kidnapped by undercover Israeli police who disguised themselves as young Palestinians by wearing facemasks and keffiyehs and slipped among protesters.
Minors aged between 12 and 17 were among the reported arrests, the sources added.
In occupied Jerusalem, 95 Palestinians were rounded up including three women and 44 minors.

The lawyer Hassan al-Sheikh pointed out that Ofer prison received over the past week 48 detained minors suffering different injuries and bruises.
