VIOLENCE BREAKS OUT IN ALL PARTS OF CAIRO, TENS OF PROTESTERS KILLED

Cairo, 10 Shawwal 1434 / August 17, 2013 (MINA)  – Millions of people who are protesting “Friday of Rage” after Friday prayers in almost all provinces in Egypt, condemned the violent crackdown by  the Egyptian security forces Wednesday morning (14/8) that killed thousands residents including children and women.
Residents take protest actions in Ramsis, Fayoum, Gharbiyah, Dimyath, North Sinai, Isma’iliya, EL-Arish, Mansoura, and other areas which are still ongoing, a correspondent MINA (Mi’raj News Agency) Dany Novery in Cairo reported.
According to the official release of the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood (the Freedom and Justice Party / FJP), the starting point for peaceful protests set off from 28 mosques in the entire territory of Egypt by doing street actions (marches).
After that, all of the protesters met at the nearest intersection and roundabout towards Ramsis, Cairo. Meanwhile, a million man march was also held in all other Egyptian administrative regions.
FJP affirmed, a protest by supporters of ousted Egyptian president, Muhammad Mursi was peaceful, and the FJP will continue to mobilize people to take to the streets without violence and without destruction.
“Violence is not our approach. Destruction will only deviate peaceful protests aims and give  justification for the coup leaders to continue to govern,” said FJP official release obtained by  MINA.
Meanwhile, as residents held protest actions in Ramsis, Cairo hub, security forces continued to shoot at people who are on the bridge, so the residents there were forced to jump down at a height of over 10 meters in order to save themselves from the indiscriminate shooting by the security forces, an amateur video shows.
So far most victims fell in Ramsis, where Maidani Ramsis hospital reported 45 people died and dozens were injured by gunfire from security forces in a helicopter.
“In addition, four people died in Fayoum, three people in Gharbiyah, eight people in Dimyath, and five people in northern Sinai, where the number of victims may increase given the ongoing situation,” Dany reported Friday night ( 16/8).
After Friday prayers, not only in Egypt, Muslims in many other countries too, including Indonesia and other Muslim countries hold demonstrations protesting the violent crackdown by the Egyptian military against pro-Morsi protesters.
