Gaza, MINA – A press conference was held in Gaza Strip on Monday on the poor economic situation in Palestine and the crisis in UNRWA as a result of the American measures against it, Palestinian Information Center reported.
Speaking at the conference, Commissioner-General of UNRWA Pierre Krahenbuhl announced launching of a major international campaign under the theme “Dignity is Priceless” to renew support for UNRWA after the US aid cut.
“I appeal to the Palestinians in Palestine: in Gaza Strip, the West Bank and in the surrounding countries of Lebanon, Jordan and Syria. And I stand by you,” he said.
