Tens of Thousands People Protest Islamophobia in London
London, MINA – Tens of thousands of Britons gathered in central London on Saturday, March 16, to protest Islamophobia, antisemitism and racism.
The demonstration held by the Stand Up to Racism community collaborated with Muslim NGOs and other antirasis groups, addressing the terror attacks that killed dozens of people in New Zealand mosques. Anadolu Agency reported.
Mass action marched from Hyde Park to government offices located in Downing Street.

Organizers said in a statement on the web that “a horrific terrorist attack on a mosque in Christchurch had shocked the world and further increased the right-wing terrorism alarm.”
“When we march for the United Nations Anti-Racism Day against racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism and fascism, we will stop at the New Zealand High Commission to send our thoughts to those affected by the attacks, and promise to unite all communities against hatred and division, ” said the statement before the march.
