King Salman Plans to Meet Leaders of Islamic Organizations in Indonesia

Jakarta, 30 Jumadil Awwal 1438/28 February 2017 (MINA) – Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has been scheduled to meet with leaders of Islamic organizations on the sidelines of his officials events in Indonesia.

In a press conference at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Jakarta, Tuesday (28/2), Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Indonesia Osama bi Mohammed Abdullah Al-Shuaibi did not specifically mention  the Islamic group leaders that would have an opportunity to meet King Salman, saying that the matter were still being discussed

But he said, the meeting with  Islamic leaders  is fully controlled under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

King Salman”s Visit to Indonesia on 1-9 March is billed as a historic trip because this is the first visit by a Saudi king in nearly 47 years. For three days, the Saudi King conducts official state visit, the rest will be for holiday in Bali.

According to the plan, Raja Salman will take 1,500 delegates, including 10 ministers and 25 princes, to Indonesia.  (L/R04/RS05)
