Sharm El-Sheikh, MINA – The President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Prabowo Subianto, attended the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit held at the International Congress Centre in Sharm El-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt, on Monday.
Prabowo’s presence underscores Indonesia’s strong commitment to championing global peace and humanity.
This international forum brought together several world leaders to witness the signing of a peace agreement and a ceasefire in Gaza, a significant step toward stability and peace in the Middle East region.
Upon arrival at the venue, Prabowo was welcomed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

In a photo session with world leaders, Prabowo stood in the front row, flanked by French President Emmanuel Macron and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This moment symbolised the solidarity and collective determination of world leaders to support peace in the Middle East.
Following the photo session, Prabowo and the other heads of state witnessed the signing of the peace document by President Donald Trump, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.[]
