Jakarta, 16 Sya’ban 1437/24 May 2016 (MINA) – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) held a meeting with several parties at the Presidential Palace here on Tuesday to discuss the preparations for his visit to Japan in late May 2016.
“The head of state will hold the meeting to discuss the preparations for his visit to Japan,” Minister/Chief of the National Development Planning Board Sofyan Djalil remarked at the palace complex prior to the meeting.
It was reported earlier that President Jokowi would attend the G7 Summit in Japan on May 26-27.
The Japanese government has sent an invitation to the Indonesian president to attend the G7 Summit as a guest of honor, Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) reported, quoting Antara..
