Palestinians Grateful for Kuwait’s Support of Vulnerable Children
GAaza, MINA – A popular Palestinian committee fighting the Israeli blockade thanked Kuwait on Sunday for hosting an international conference that shines a light on the plight of Palestinian children.
Speaking to the press, Dr. Jamal Al-Khodary, a lawmaker heading the committee, expressed his gratefulness as Kuwait is set to host a two-day global conference that focuses on human rights violations inflicted by Israeli forces on Palestinian children.
According to KUNA, Al-Khodary also thanked Kuwait’s Amir His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his steadfast support of the Palestinian people.
He pointed out that Kuwait’s support of the Palestinian people was all the more poignant given the volatile conditions that have gripped the region.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian official lamented that children have bore the brunt of Israeli aggressions, leaving them in dire need of assistance.
The Kuwait-hosted conference brings to public attention the suffering of Palestinian children amid continued Israeli transgression, with broad attendance by local, Arab and Islamic dignitaries. (T/RS5/RS1)
