Al-Quds, 16 Safar 1437/29 November 2015 (MINA) –Palestinian Health Minister Jawad Awad has accused the Israeli soldiers who “left Palestinian martyr Mohamed Ismail al-Shobaki to bleed to death” of committing a “war crime”, adding that the incident constitutes “evidence of Israeli terrorism” against the Palestinians.

In a press statement received by Quds Press yesterday, Awad referred to a video that was broadcast in the media showing Israeli soldiers leaving Shobaki in pain and bleeding to death. He said that the video proves that the Israeli army “insists on killing”.

Awad condemned the Israeli authorities for “conducting a field investigation” with an “injured and bleeding” Shobaki, adding that what the Palestinian young man was subjected to signals the “magnitude of criminality that the occupation state has reached”.

He appealed to international and human rights organisations to intervene to save the Palestinian people from indiscriminate killing by the occupation authorities.
