ISRAELI VANDALS STORM MUSLIMS’ AL-AQSA MOSQUE

Al-Quds, 22 Rabiul Awal 1437/4 January 2016 (MINA) – A horde of Israeli extremist settlers stormed on early Sunday morning the plazas of Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, in Occupied Jerusalem.

Eyewitnesses said Israeli settler groups, escorted by army officers, broke into the al-Aqsa Mosque and vandalized its yards, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Israeli sacrilegious assaults on the al-Aqsa—the third holiest site in Islam—have fanned the flames of the simmering tension rocking the occupied Palestinian territories.

Such assaults, launched on a quasi-daily basis, aim at dividing the Mosque both spatially and temporally between Muslims and Jews, in a move that violates the typically Islamic idiosyncrasy of such a sacred place of worship. (T/P011/R03)
