Gaza, 4 Ramadan 1436/21 June 2015 (MINA) – Israeli factories and business owners in settlements near the Gaza Strip have said that they are deeply disappointed with the government’s delay in paying financial compensation for the losses they sustained during last year’s war on Gaza.

Israel’s Channel 2 quoted the owner of the Top-Jam factory for candies in Sderot settlement, Hai Heyoun, as saying that everyone is frustrated.

Despite the Israeli government’s promises to compensate them as soon as possible, he has not received the full compensation until today; he expressed his sadness for operating his factory during the war. Middle East Monitor (MEMO) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The TV station also revealed that the government has still not reviewed the objections filed by those affected by the Israeli war against the enclave in 2012.

“I will not tolerate any war from now on,” said Abraham Levy angrily. The wedding hall owner from Sderot called on the Israeli government to hold talks with Hamas to end this calamity.

He added that he is waiting for the financial payments that come in small instalments without which the future of his business is under threat. (T/P002/R03)
