Al-Quds , 29 Jumadil Awwal 1436/20 Maret 2015 (MINA) – The Israeli police surrounded Wednesday morning a Palestinian-owned home in Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem as a prelude to seize it and hand it over to a group of settlers.

Member of the local committee to defend Jerusalemite territories Saleh Shweiki said that policemen cordoned off the house ahead of the move and prevented al-Malhi family members’ access into their home, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The Israeli security forces claimed that the Palestinian-owned home belongs to the settlers.

The move was a direct message to the Israeli voter who elected Netanyahu that his confiscation policy is still continuing as he had promised during his election campaign, Shweiki continued.
