Gaza, 23 Jumadil Awwal 1436/14 March 2015 (MINA) –  Israeli forces opened fire Friday afternoon on Palestinian lands east of Khan Younis in the souther Gaza Strip near the border.

Witnesses said Israeli soldiers stepped out of a military vehicle patrolling the border and opened fire.

No injuries were reported, Ma’an News Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The incident was the second such Israeli military attack on Palestinians in the border area in the last two days.

Israeli forces have repeatedly opened fire near the border since the ceasefire agreement signed Aug. 26, 2014, that ended a more than 50-day assault by Israel on Gaza that left around 2,200 dead and 11,000 injured. (T/P010/P3)
