Israeli Army Open Fire on Palestinian Fishing Zone

Gaza City, MINA – Israeli naval forces fire on Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Gaza City and the northern besieged Gaza Strip, on Wednesday morning.

A Ma’an reporter said that Israeli war boats simultaneously fire on Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip.

He said “there are no injuries were reported”.

Sources pointed out that Israeli naval forces were fired in the allowed fishing zone for Palestinian Fishermen.

The Israeli army also regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas if they approach the buffer zone, as the authorities have not made clear the precise area of the designated zone.

The actions has destroyed much of the agricultural and fishing sector of the blockaded coastal enclave, which has been under an Israeli air, land, and sea blockade for 10 years. (T/Sj/P2)
