ISRAEL FEARS OF INTIFADA

        Jerusalem, 15 Rabiul Akhir 1434 H/25 February 2013 (MINA) – The Israeli politicians and security officials warned Benjamin Netanyahu to be ready to face the possibility of intifada (resistance) and urged the new resume peace talks with the Palestinians.
        Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu immediately ordered his staff to immediately transfer Palestinian tax revenues which is detained since January 2013 ago. So that the government can will call on the Palestinian people to restore the security situation in the West Bank, according to a report published in www.northiowatoday.com monitored by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA), Monday.
        Meanwhile, veteran Israeli politician Binyamin (Fuad) Ben-Eliezer warned that Israel is now on the verge of a third intifada which will be more dangerous than the previous resistance. Ben-Eliezer told Israel Radio that Netanyahu must resume peace talks with the Palestinians of the West Bank before the situation gets worse.
       “The situation in the West Bank last week got worse following the deteriorating economic situation. This is because the Palestinian government employees have not received their salaries since November 2012 and that Israel withhold their tax revenues, “said Giora Eiland, a former Israeli national security adviser.
        Another factor that led to the worsening situation of the West Bank is the issue of Palestinian prisoners who died in Israeli prisons, as well as the construction of Israeli illegal settlements on Palestinian land in the West Bank.
        Elsewhere, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared that Palestinian people did not want to take intifada action. He says there are a profokators of both parties in order to deliberately disturb the atmosphere of turmoil.
        “We do not want the Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem clashed with Israeli police. We want peace and a solution,” Abbas said.
        Abbas will consolidate with Palestinian leaders, including the leaders of the faction Hamas. We want security for the Palestinian people to be peaceful and able to work in peace. (T/P04/E1)
