Khan Younis, 3 Safar 1437/15 November 2015 (MINA) – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday morning opened heavy machinegun fire on Palestinian farmers in southern Gaza Strip.
An on-the-spot observer said the Israeli occupation troops deployed in eastern Khuza’a town, to the east of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza Strip, opened fire at Palestinian civilian homes and farmers, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
Farmers and civilians reportedly left their homes and lands for fear of being killed.
The attack comes at the same time as the occupation patrols have raked through the border fence. Israeli drones have also been hovering over the territory.
The attack is another chain in Israel’s violations of the ceasefire accord signed with Palestinian resistance factions on August 26, 2014, following a large-scale Israeli offensive on the besieged coastal enclave.(T/P008/R04)
