Gaza, 7 Jumadil Akhir 1438/6 March 2017 (MINA) – Egyptian authorities decided to open the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the besieged Gaza Strip in both directions for three days starting Monday.

Gaza’s border crossings committee affirmed that the terminal was opened temporarily on Monday morning to first allow the travel of those who were barred from leaving or entering the besieged coastal enclave in the last time, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.

The lists of passengers include humanitarian cases, students, and the holders of the Egyptian passport, the committee pointed out.

Rafah crossing is the only border pathway that connects the Gazan people to the outside world through Egypt.
