Medan, MINA – The Detachment 88 Antiterror Team of the North Sumatra Police and Regional Police is conducting a crime scene related to a bomb explosion in the yard of City Resort Police Headquarters (Mapolrestabes) in Medan, North Sumatra, on Wednesday morning, November 13.
“Currently, the crime scene is being carried out by the North Sumatra Detachment and Regional Police. Awaiting the results of further investigations, “Head of the Public Information Bureau of the National Police, Brigadier General Dedi Prasetyo, told media crews in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Police suspect the bombers at the police headquarters numbered two people. It is based on information obtained, which states, the perpetrators who use online motorcycle jackets.
After the explosion which was thought to be a suicide bombing, police officers sterilized the area. A number of Police cars appeared in and out of the scene. Other than officers, the public is not allowed to enter. (T/Sj/P2)
