71 Foreigners in Quake’s Central Sulawesi Evacuated to Jakarta

Jakarta, MINA – The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) informed that there are 71 foreigners from several countries were in the city of Palu, Central Sulawesi at the time of the earthquake, tsunami and most of them have been evacuated safely to Jakarta.

“There are 71 foreigners affected by disasters in Palu and Donggala, some of them have been evacuated to Jakarta,” Sutopo said at a press conference at Graha BNPB, Jalan Pramuka, East Jakarta, Sunday (30/9).

The following 71 lists of foreigner victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi who successfully collected by the MINA News Agency:

1 foreigner from Singapore has been evacuated to Jakarta.

1 foreigner from Belgium has been evacuated to Jakarta.

3 foreigners from France, their condition is unknown.

1 foreigner from Malaysia, the condition is unknown.

1 foreigner from Germany at John Dive Resort Donggala obtained information on safe conditions.

10 foreigners from Vietnam are currently at the Mutiara Palu airport post, safe conditions.

32 foreigners from Thailand is on safe conditions in Palu.

21 Chinese foreigners at the Best Western Palu Hotel are on safe conditions.

Meanwhile, one foreigner from South Korea, the condition is unknown and allegedly a position at the Roa Roa Hotel in Palu that collapsed and flattened to the ground due to the earthquake. Handling of foreigners is coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (TL/R06/RS5)
