President Abbas, King Abdullah Discuss Implications of US Decision on Jerusalem

Amman, MINA – Palestinians President Mahmoud Abbas and Jordan’s King Abdullah discussed on Monday in Amman implications of the US decision recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

The two leaders discussed the next move following the US decision on Jerusalem and Israeli threats to seize more Palestinian land, Wafa News Agency reported.

The two leaders discusses as well regional development and efforts to find peaceful solution to the conflicts in the region. They also discussed adopting unified position on the Palestinian issue as well as bilateral relations and how to develop them.

President Abbas received official welcome at al-Hussaynieh Palace in Amman where King Abdullah received him.(R/R04/RS5)
