1.782 Israelis Stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque Last March

Occupied Jerusalem, 5 Rajab 1438/3 April 2017 (MINA) – Al-Quds Studies Center for Israeli and Palestinian Affairs said that 1,782 Israelis stormed al-Aqsa Mosque last March.

In a report published on Sunday, the center pointed out that the number of Israelis who broke into the holy site included 93 of the police and intelligence forces, 327 Jewish students including the group known as “Students for the Temple of Solomon”, and 1,358 settlers other than 34,691 tourists.

Last March witnessed higher number of Israelis defiling the al-Aqsa Mosque compared to the same month of last year in which 960 Israelis stormed the holy Islamic shrine, the Palestinian Information Center(PIC) reported.

Israeli police arrested 15 workers of al-Awqaf Department in Occupied Jerusalem including 12 guards of al-Aqsa Mosque in the same month.(T/R04/RS5)
