The United States of America had deployed the formidable HIMARS missiles in Syria.
Moscow, 21 Ramadan 1438/16 June 2017 (MINA) – Russia revealed on Thursday that the United States of America had deployed the formidable Himars missiles in Syria.

The American forces installed the rocket launchers in Al-Tanaf region, some 18 kms from the borders with Jordan, KUNA reported, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense in a statement.
The statement claimed that Washington deployed these missiles with the intention to strike Syrian government targets.
Russia is observing the situation along the Syrian-Jordanian border closely, it added.
The M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is a U.S. light multiple rocket launcher mounted on a standard Army Medium Tactical Vehicle (MTV) truck frame.
