Gaza, 9 Jumadil Awwal 1438/7 February 2017 (MINA) – The Palestinian Energy Authority in Gaza said that the visit paid by the delegation of the Turkish Energy Ministry to the Gaza Strip was successful.

The delegation collected useful technical data and discussed certain administrative procedures for implementing Turkish projects proposed for solving the power crisis in the besieged enclave, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.

The Turkish delegation, that left Gaza after a few hours visit, promised to remove Israeli obstacles hindering the implementation of 161 Project.

The Authority, however, said that it will soon tender bids for solar energy projects to be implemented in hospitals, schools and public facilities.
