“We must not again ask for aid from other countries. It is time for us yo help other countries, smaller countries. The time has come,”Antara News quoted the president as saying at Delta Silicon Industrial Zone in Cikarang, West Java, on Tuesday.

For the past seven years the number of the club has only reached 15. Indonesia entered the club in 2017.
“Last year we entered the more special group which is the “Trillion Dollar Club” for member countries with economies worth US$1 trillion a year. Many people here are not aware that we have been included in the G20 group of countries. Many still feel that the country is still poor,” he said.

“If our country`s economy continue to grow above five percent a year and we keep pushing it to grow even bigger, let us say, to 5-6 percent a year it means it will be worth US$2 trillion by 2032 at the latest. Many people do not have such calculation,” he said.
Quoting PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PwC) economic consultant that uses a purchasing power parity method to calculate an alternative for an exchange rate between two countries` currencies President Jokowi said Indonesia could become the fifth biggest economy in the world by 2032.
