Scores Of Jewish Settlers Defile Aqsa Mosque

Al-Quds, 1 Jumadil Akhir 1437/10 March 2016 (MINA) – Dozens of Jewish settlers on Thursday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under tight police guard.

Local sources said that groups of 138 Jewish settlers, including 74 university students and one employee from the Israeli antiquities authority, entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Meanwhile, several Palestinian worshipers in the Mosque’s courtyards chanted religious slogans in protest at the presence of the settlers.

In a related context, Extremist Jewish groups incited their supporters to march en masse to the Aqsa Mosque during the coming days to mark the season of Jewish festivals.(T/P008/R03)
