Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him said:
It means: “There are three prayers that will not be rejected, the prayer of people who fast from dawn to dusk (breaking the fast), the fair leaders, and the oppressed people. Allah will raises the prayers to above the cloud on the doomsday and opens doors of heaven, then Allah says : for the sake of my glory, I’m really going to help you, even afterwards. “(hadith by al-Tirmidzi from Abu Hurairah r.a).
Meaning: “indeed for someone who fast, when they break fast there is prayer that is not rejected”. (hadith by Ibn Majah from Abdullah binAmr r.a).
Based on these hadiths, prayer is very important for fasting people on Ramadan.
There are some prayers read specifically on Ramadan:
Prayer can be read at any time during Ramadan, it is recommended:
It means: “I testify that there is no God but Allah, I ask for forgiveness to Allah, indeed I want your heaven, and I take shelter from hell”. (Hadith by IbnuKhuzaimah fromSalman Al-Faris r.a).
Welcoming the night of Lailatul qadar on Ramadan, we are recommended to reads the prayer frequently:
this means: “O Allah . Truly you are great in giving forgiveness, like to forgive, so please forgive me “. (hadith by IbnuMajah and Ahmad from ‘Aisyahr.a)
prayer for breaking fast:
Meaning: “O Allah, my fast just for You, and base upon you I break the fast”. (Hadith by Abu Dawud).
This means: feel of thirst have lost , and the throat has become wet, and there is real merit, at the willing of Allah”. (hadith byAbu Dawud fromIbnuUmar r.a).
As well as other prayers for kindness, not breaking brotherhood and not containing evil deed. it is the best momentum to increase prayer.
May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala Grant our prayers. Aamiin. (T/R1/SYT).
