Gaza, 12 Jumadil Awwal 1438/10 February 2017 (MINA) – Head of the legal committee of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), Mohammad al-Ghoul, said that the Israeli so called annexation law which legitimizes settlement in the West Bank is racist and illegal.
It aims at legitimizing the theft of Palestiniansā lands just like it did in the Nakba in 1948, he said, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.
In a statement on Thursday, Ā Ghoul denounced the Knesset passing of the illegal law, saying that all of Israeli laws are considered illegal since they are issued by an illegal authority in the first place.
The Palestinian MP Ghoul asked the international community to condemn such Israeli laws and prosecute Israel at International Criminal Court. Ā He stressed on the importance to classify the illegal Israeli annexation bill as a crime against humanity and part of war crimes listed in the international laws.(T/R04/RS05)
