Millions of Indonesian Ready for Jihad in Palestine

Jakarta, MINA – Millions of Indonesian poured the street of the capital city, Jakarta, on Sunday morning in a solidarity rally for Palestine.

One of committee organizers, Indonesian Ulema Council, mentioned the number reached to 2 millions people came accross Indonesian provinces.  They mostly arrived since Saturday night and spent the whole day in the biggest mosque in the country, Istiqlal mosque.

In his speech, National Coordinator of Al Maidah Guard Command (KOKAM), Mashuri Mashuda leads the reading of the pledge on the main stage.

“By Allah we have vowed if all forms of diplomacy have no solution, then we, Indonesians, are ready to go to fulfill jihad’s call, Allahu Akbar!” said Mashuri followed by the shout of “Allahu akbar” (takbeer) of all demontrants.

Before the reading, Deputy Secretary of the Council’s Judges Bachtiar Nasir said it is time for Indonesian youth to prepare for it.

“The one who liberates Palestine is the youths, are you ready?” he said followed by another takbeer.

Nasir also mentioned that Islamic brotherhood will remain strong and united, despite the difference view or organizations among Muslim society arround the world.

“Organizations may be dissolved, view may differ, but brotherhood will remain exist till the end of time,” he shouted.

In its statement, the council demanded US President Donald Trump to withdraw his statement and policy in recognising Jerusalem as Israeli capital.

Meanwhile, Jakarta governor Anies Baswedan in speech quoted Indonesian constitution, by saying that all kind of occupations need to erase in this world.(L/RE1/manda)
