Jakarta, 8 Dhulq’ida 1434/14 September 2013 (MINA) – One of Humanitarian organizations in Indonesia namely Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C) to hold Qurban program in Gaza Palestine.
Qurban, the sacrificial animals in Islam, will be taken care by 32 Indonesian volunteers in Gaza starting from choosing, buying, and distributing directly door to door.
“We believe in their capacity, they can handle qurban from choosing it, slaughtering, and sending it by door to door to Gazan,” one of MER-C staff told Mi’raj News Agency (MINA).
According to Mer-C reports, one of their sacrificial animals such as sheep which has 40-50 kg in weight and worth RP.3.5 million Rupiah ($308,57 USD).

“When we give this information to our donors, praise to Allah there are three donors who transferred the funds to the committee,” said Tina, the staff.
