MALAYSIA MOURNS OVER ARRIVAL OF 20 DEAD BODIES OF MH17 VICTIMS

Kuala Lumpur, 27 Shawwal 1435/23 August 2014 (MINA) – Malaysian people mourned over arrival of 20 victims bodies of 298 passengers of MH17 plane of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) on Friday.The Plane was shot down in the sky over Ukraine, July 17 2014.

Number victims of Malaysian citizens are 43 people. The other 23 dead bodies will follow after experts complete DNA identification.

Experts have identified the 20 dead victims of MH17 plane in Netherlands. The twenty people were from Malaysia, Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) correspondent in Kuala Lumpur reported.

Plane bringing the dead bodies landed around 10:45 Friday morning, Malaysian time or 37 days after the accident. The plane departed from Netherlands,.

Malaysian Army Special Forces greeted arrival of the 20  bodies of the victims with special ceremonies. Malaysian Government officials  and some citizens presented the ceremony.

The government officials includes King and Queen of Sultan Abdul Halim Muazzam Shah, Prime Minister of Malaysia (Dato Seri Najib Tun Abd Razak) and some cabinet ministers.

Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib asked all Malaysian people to be silent a minute to honor the victims of MH17 tragedy.

“There are no words except feeling of loss, our prayers for all the victims and their families,” said Najib in social media.

It is not only families of the victims are mourning , but all Malaysian people from various community group feel it.

Malaysian national flags are put at half-mast in airports, offices, schools, hospitals and other public places.

Bernama news agency explain that vehicles provided by local company, Produa would deliver the victims bodies to various regions such as Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Malaka. While helicopter would deliver the dead bodies to distant regions such as Sarawak, Terengganu, Perak and Johor.

According to observers, it was a severe slap for Malaysia because within four months two Malaysia’s planes become victims. Previously, MH370 plane missed over India ocean.It has not been found yet.
