JEWISH STUDENT ASSAULTS MK HANIN ZOABI

Gaza, 13 Jumadil Awwal 1436/4 Maret 2015 (MINA) – Arab MK, deputy on the National Democratic Assembly, Hanin al-Zoabi has been assaulted by a Jewish student at an academic college in Ramat Gan settlement in Tel Aviv on Tuesday (3/3).

The assault is the natural outcome of the persistent incitement by Israeli authorities and politicians against MK Zoabi, according to observers, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Local sources said a Jewish youth, who is a student at the college, threw a bottle at Zoabi while she was attending a symposium on the Israeli Knesset elections. Altercation then evolved at the stage between the Arab and Israeli students.

Earlier on Tuesday, a demonstration was organized by Yisrael Beiteinu activists and led by Avigdor Lieberman protesting the participation of Zoabi in the symposium.
