Israeli Forces Attack West Bank Rallies on Land Day Anniversary

Qalqilia, MINA – At least one Palestinian was injured and many others suffocated from teargas on Friday as Israeli forces attacked several rallies in many areas of the West Bank commemorating the 43rd anniversary of the Land Day, according to local sources.

According to WAFA, Forces also attacked by teargas and rubber-coated rounds protesters taking part in concurrent protests in the village of al-Mughayer, near Ramallah, injuring one protester and causing many cases of suffocation from gas inhalation.

In Qalqilia district, north of the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces attacked by rubber-coated rounds Palestinians taking part in the nonviolent weekly protest in Kafr Qaddum village, but there were no reports of injuries.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers attacked protesters commemorating the Land Day anniversary near the village of Burqa, north of Nablus. No injuries were reported.(R/R04/P2)
