Al-Quds, MINA – Israeli occupation authority sent a demolition order to dozens of Palestinian buildings around Qalandia refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday, August 21.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by Israeli city government officials, stormed the airport road opposite Qalandia refugee camp and distributed warning letters on the demolition and evacuation of about 20 buildings in the area, which the occupation authorities said were “illegal”.

Sources quoted by Safa pointed out that the attack continued for several hours, the owner of building more than a year ago submitted a permit to Israeli court regarding their facilities.

Since 1967, the municipality has continued its policy of destroying homes and relocating Palestinians under the pretext of not obtaining building permits, and hunting down every Jerusalem resident who built houses, shops, or expanded facilities in cities and suburbs. (T/Sj/P2)
