Gaza, 02 Ramadan 1437/07 June 2016 (MINA) – The Israeli foreign minister has denied agreement to cooperate with the International Criminal Court (ICC) regarding an investigation into crimes carried out by the Israeli army during the latest Israeli offensive on Gaza, Quds Press reported on Monday.
This came in response to the ICC prosecutor, who said: “Israel agreed to cooperate with the ICC as it transferred information about its investigations regarding the issue.”
Quds Press reported Israeli Channel 7 stressing that “Israel does not recognise jurisdiction of The Hague regarding the discussion of this issue”.
According to Channel 7, Israel contacted The Hague regarding the legal procedures, but it did not give any details.
