Ramallah, MINA — Under the slogan “Sport brings us together”, a number of European organizations operating in the Palestinian territories are organizing a day of sport and cultural activities in Ramallah on World Cup championship finale on July 15, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing a press release.

“Sport is a universal language spoken all over the globe. The football world championship brings people of different nations together and connects them despite conventional boundaries,” it said.

“Sport for Development” of the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Goethe-Institut Ramallah, the French Institute of Jerusalem, the Danish House, as well as the German Representative Office in Ramallah have invited the Palestinian public to a day of festivities around the Ramallah Municipality and surrounding neighborhood and to watch the World Cup final game on large screens.
