Kula Lumpur, MINA – Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman is leading Malaysia’s delegation to attend the 15th Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) with Indonesia, which will take place in Jakarta, today and tomorrow.
The JCBC will be co-chaired by Anifah and his Indonesian counterpart Retno L.P. Marsudi.
“The JCBC will discuss the progress of bilateral cooperation as well as to follow up on the decisions made by Prime Minister of Malaysia and the President of the Republic of Indonesia at the 11th Annual Consultation in Jakarta last year,” nst.com reported, citing a statement from Wisma Putra.
The 14th JCBC was held in Kuala Lumpur between Oct 9 and 10 2015.

A Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) will be held prior to the Ministerial Meeting.
The Foreign Ministry said that among issues that are expected to be discussed include the progress on maritime boundary delimitation and land boundary demarcation, treatment and welfare of fishermen, Indonesian domestic and migrant workers, trade and investment as well as other issues of mutual interest.
