Wonogiri, MINA – All students of Al Fatah Islamic Boarding School in Wonogiri took part in a Disaster-Safe Education Unit (SPAB) training held on October.
The activity was organized by Ukhuwah Al Fatah Rescue (UAR) for the South Central Java region and was led by Irfan, Regional Coordinator of UAR South Central Java.
During the event, the students were provided with knowledge about various types of natural disasters and the steps to handle them.
In addition to theoretical materials, participants also joined disaster response simulations with various scenarios, including earthquakes, fires, and evacuation processes.
The training aimed to improve students’ preparedness in facing emergency situations, while instilling awareness of the importance of quick and proper action when a disaster occurs.
“Through this activity, we want the students not only to understand the theory but also to be ready to act correctly when a real disaster happens,” said Irfan, Regional Coordinator of UAR South Central Java.

Besides the simulation, the participants were also trained on evacuation procedures and how to report disaster incidents to the authorities.
With this training, the Islamic boarding school is expected to become an educational environment that is responsive and safe from potential disasters.
The SPAB training at Al Fatah Islamic Boarding School Wonogiri is part of Ukhuwah Al Fatah Rescue’s commitment to developing a culture of disaster preparedness among students and Islamic educational institutions.[]
