Hillary Clinton finally concedes, saying this is painful.

Washington, 10 Safar 1438/10 November 2016  (MINA) – Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate for the White House, conceded defeat Wednesday and congratulated president-elect Donald Trump on his win.

At last count, Clinton has 228 electoral college votes compared to Trump’s surprise 279 votes, a win that very few in the liberal-dominated media and political landscape expected.

According to KUNA, a dejected-looking Clinton held back tears as she described the election as “painful,” but urged her supporters to “not grow weary” and “not lose heart.”

“I am so sorry we didn’t win this election,” she said.

“Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and a chance to lead,” she said.

Clinton added she knows how “disappointed” her supporters feel, and called on them to “make sure your voices are heard going forward.”

The former secretary of state and first lady said she offered to work with Trump, because the campaign was “never about one person.”

“This loss hurts but please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it,” she added. (T/R07/R01)
