Al Quds, 9 Dzulqa’dah 1436/24 August 2015 (MINA) – The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) prevented Monday morning Palestinian women from entering into al-Aqsa Mosque after closing most of its gates.

The IOF soldiers intensified, since the morning hours, their presence at the entrances to the holy shrine and erected a number of military checkpoints. Only three gates of the Mosque were left open, while the rest were shut down, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Jerusalemite media sources affirmed that IOF confiscated the worshipers’ identity cards before their access to the Mosque.

A girl was brutally attacked at Silsila gate, while another woman was detained at Hitta gate, the sources added.
