Israel to Install Advanced Cameras on Settlement Roads
Occupied Jerusalem, MINA – Hebrew media sources reported that the Israeli army will soon start to install new surveillance cameras with modern technology on settlement roads in the West Bank.
An Israeli news website said that some of these cameras were planted on roads near Ramallah to be tested, noting that this move falls in line with the Israeli army’s attempts to thwart future attacks, PIC reported.
According to the website, the army, through these cameras, can easily identify people as well as cars’ number plates and their owners.(R/R04/RS5)
