Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem), 29 Rabi’ul Akhir 1436/19 February 2015 (MINA) – Extremist Israeli settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday morning from Mughrabi Gate, tightly guarded by special Israeli police.

The director of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar Kiswani said to “ALRAY”, :”60 extremist settlers divided on small groups stormed the Al-Aqsa courtyards from Mughrabi Gate on the morning”.

He explained that the settlers carried out a provocative tour in front Palestinian worshippers who raised their voice by Takbeer, Al-Ray Palestinian Media Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Extremist Israeli settlers and politicians have lately been violating the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque almost on a daily basis and always under the protection of armed occupation forces, which often attack Palestinian worshipers who try to protect their holy site.

Assault Palestinian woman

Small groups of Israeli settlers broke into the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque from Mughrabi gate, on Wednesday  under the protection of Israeli special police.

Local sources said that the Israeli police assaulted a Palestinian woman in order, to secure and open the way for settlers to enter the compound.

Local sources quoted witnesses as saying that the occupation forces deployed in occupied Jerusalem’s Old City ,stopped dozens of students from children , checked certificates of birth and searched their school bags.
