Rio de Janeiro,04 Dzulqa’dah 1437/07 August 2016 (MINA) – Several international media praised the Indonesian contingent at the opening ceremony.
In the opening ceremony at the Maracana Stadium, Rio de Janeiro, Saturday (6/8) morning West Indonesian time, the Indonesian contingent led by Chef de Mission, Raja Sapta Oktohari, dressed in a predominantly red and white. Batik Parang pattern and eagle adorns the front of the clothes worn.

While the USA Today website put Indonesia as one of the 17 countries with the best costume at the opening ceremony. According to them, nothing needs to be added again to the Indonesian costume.

Some netizens also expressed his praise for the costumes worn by Indonesia. Some call it a contest national costume at the Miss Universe.
