The Opening Ceremony Stage of the 18th Asian Games 2018 the Biiggest of Its Kind for Opening of a Sporting Event

Jakarta, MINA – The opening ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games will be featuring a stage with a total weight of 600 tons and a length of 135 meters, a width of 30 meters, and a height of 26 meters, making it as one of the largest and highest stage ever built  for the opening of a sporting event.

Answering the curiosity of the community, the opening ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games to be held on August 18, 2018 at the Bung Karno Main Stadium will showcase the concept of natural beauty and indigenous cultural diversity of Indonesia., describing a beautiful mountain  with more than 12,775 plants and flowers on an area of ​​more than 1350 square meters with and flowing waterfalls containing 140,000 liters of water stretching 3000 square meters of green grass that beautify its beauty.

According to a statement, the concept is presented with the help of a projector and lighting technology that will make everything more beautiful.

There will be a hidden tunnel along approximately 50 meters so that the performers will be able to perform movements across the stage area.

It should be the pride of all of us, that the grandeur of this stage is the work of 350 sons of the nation. The mountain-shaped stage is currently still in progress and since the beginning of the work until completion is estimated to take three months. The stage consists of 175 parts created manually by craftsmen who are in Bandung and Jakarta.
